Our Curriculum
Our Curriculum follows the Guidelines of Florida Department of Agriculture, Division of Licensing.
Our comprehensive curriculum blends classroom instruction with hands-on training, ensuring graduates are fully prepared for real-world security challenges. From fundamental safety protocols to advanced defensive tactics, we equip students with the skills to succeed.
Unarmed Security Courses
Our Students will learn:
- The basic principles of physical security, including de-escalation of tense situations, access control, terrorism awareness, and emergency procedures, etc.
- Skill development including report writing, interviewing techniques, crime, and accident prevention techniques.
- All course materials comply with Florida Statutes 493 and legal guidelines 5N-1. The Certificate of Completion for successfully completing the Unarmed Security D Course will be submitted along with the Division of Licensing’s Class “D” Security License Application. Graduating students who apply for and receive the Class “D” Security Officer License are permitted to work for a licensed security agency as an unarmed security officer.
- Students seeking to obtain their armed security license must complete the D Course first to be eligible to apply for the Statewide Firearms License. The additional course is 28 hours for the G license.tactical training, and specialized courses in areas such as cybercrime and forensic investigation.
Armed Security Training
Our Students will learn:
- Firearms safety, mechanics and liability.
- Skill development includes marksmanship fundamentals, loading and unloading, the 4-step draw and clearing malfunctions.
- All course materials are in compliance with Florida Statutes 493 and Florida Administrative Code legal guidelines 5N-1. The Certificate of Completion for successfully completing this course will be submitted along with the Department of Agriculture, Division of Licensing’s Class “G” Statewide Firearms License Application.
- Graduates who apply for, and receive the Class “G” Statewide Firearm License are permitted to work as a Security Officer in an armed capacity.
- Students must have or obtain the D license prior to applying for a G course.
